Journey begins!

Us girls in Helsinki, in the hotel restaurant. We saw our mutual friend there, and ate very expensive food. We've just arrived from Kajaani and we're quite tired after a relatively short flight. After a Doctor Who episode we went to sleep in a tiny hotel room, that was enough for us (it had the most comfortable blankets ever!).

The flight from Helsinki to London was smooth and went on without any bigger troubles, but getting to the aeroplane wasn't as trouble-free. Salla's passport was lost before the trip, and she ordered it to arrive at Helsinki-Vantaa airport. This is all well, but the building where the passport was available opened at 7 am, and the flight was to depart at 8 am. And the Finnair queues were hellishly long. We got to the plane by some miracle, all sweaty and panicking but our minds were at ease after we had our seats.

The idea of wandering in London Heathrow, was haunting beforehand, but the actual airport was very well guided and not even as crowded as we had thought. We got to spend several hours there and we ate at some trendy organic restaurant. The flight from London to Belfast was horrible, it was bumpy and we both felt sick all the time.

From Belfast we took a bus to Derry, wich was a great decision. We got to see a bit of the gorgeous countryside of Northern Ireland. We'll put up pictures later.

Ah, home sweet home. Well, kinda, for six weeks. Our room was newly decorated and really beutiful, as well as the living room. We live with three lovely german girls, who have their own rooms. The tapwater here is undrinkable, but thank god we have a vodka fountain...

We were warned of greedy cats lurking for food behind the windows, and the landlady was right. We saw a couple of cats that tried to persuade us to give them something with their gazes.

Now we're gonna end the day with an episode of Game of Thrones and then finally go to sleep. Tomorrow is going to be first day at school, how exiting!
Cheers!
